Wayco Multi-Lift Inc. offers a fully equipped service and parts department available to repair all popular makes of industrial forklift trucks that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our role as a dealer is to provide qualified technicians capable of properly performing maintenance services and inspections of all types.

We will come to you: Our experienced technicians will go to where your forklift is to fix it. You don’t have to bring it to us. We call this our PM Service. If for any reason we need to bring your equipment back to our shop for additional service, we will look after taking it there and bringing it back.

Maintenance is a major concern with your lift truck investments. A fleet in top working condition will experience lower repair costs and higher machine utilization. In order to achieve this level of operating time, your equipment must be managed with well planned schedules designed to meet your company’s operating requirements.

Preventative Maintenance

Every 150 to 200 hours operating intervals. Fully trained technicians perform a 40 part inspection based on your equipment gas/propane/diesel/electric at your facility at your convenience. Check all fluid levels, battery level, truck operation, forks, carriage & mast wear, condition of tires, bolts & nuts on wheel hub, backrest and overhead guard & adjust all belts. Change engine air filter, engine oil filter, transmission oil filter. Lubricate truck, lift chains, clean battery cables and terminals

ELECTRIC - As above plus extra Check battery level and specific gravity, oil level - differential and hydraulic. Check contacts and motor brushes

2000 Hour Service

Every 2000 hours. Preventative Maintenance and Annual lifting device inspection required yearly by the Ministry of Labour. This requires 8 hours up to 10,000 lb capacity. Brake system inspection and service Steering system inspection complete, hydraulic system service-change oil and filter, fuel system inspection-gas and diesel, transmission and drive axle inspection and fluid changed, upright carriage system inspection, engine complete including compression test cooling system service including fluid change. Electrical system-motor and contacts, tires, lift chains and forks, transmission and hydraulic pressure test, battery system-less load test

What Is a Forklift Safety Inspection?

Ministry of Labour requires that all lift truck have a lifting device inspection to confirm their safety and loading capability at least once a year! Ensure that your lift trucks met or exceed the standard by using Wayco Multi-Lift Inc factory trained technicians. Once everything has been inspected and found to be in proper working order, we can certify your equipment for you.

Why Do I need Forklift Training?

Our intense training will give you the Best Price and Overall best coverage. We offer national coverage, local service, 98% pass rate & we train individuals or groups. We train in house or your location. Our safe operation of a Lift Truck / Forklift Program is good method for ensuring forklift safety and becoming a competent operator in the workplace.

A forklift is a very powerful and useful tool, but in untrained hands, it can do more harm than good. Know your Lift Truck! Did you know...The CSA standard in 3 years theory and practical evaluation by a competent person every 18 months. Successful completion, a 3 year lift truck / forklift certificate will be issued automatically and must be signed in the space provided by a competent individual verifying that a hands-on practical evaluation has been completed.

Are Emission Tests Mandatory?

Emission Test are not Mandatory yet, but the Ministry of Labour will be enforcing this procedure soon! Emission test provides a safer work environment for the forklift operators and all the workers. Get an emission test done yearly it clears the air the workers breathe every day. The EPA's mission is to protect human health and safeguard the natural environment. emission can prevent serious air pollution problems and other serious environmental problems such as ecosystem damage and visibility impairment. Many of the pollutant emitted are air toxics.

Does the law require that all personnel wear PPE?

Personal Protection Equipment is a mandatory required item to be placed in your designated charging area. Occupational Health & Safety laws require that all personnel wear PPE when performing battery maintenance or replacement.

Forklift Batteries are very expensive and are replaced far too soon as a result of improper care and neglect. To help our customers with electric forklifts save money and unnecessary costs, WAYCO provides a forklift BATTERY CARE Program. A monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or yearly inspection of your equipment batteries and chargers making sure it's done correctly and on a routine basis.

What specifically do my operators need to check for?

OSHA requires that forklift vehicles have to be inspected at least daily, or after each shift when used around the clock. Wayco's forklift operator checklist booklet provides outlined items to be inspected prior to each shift. Since pre-shift inspection is an OSHA requirement, it is important for the employer to be prepared to document that these inspections have been made on a regular basis
